West Midlands Design Organisations

There are a wide range of organisations working to improve design quality in the West Midlands.

Using the boxes below you can find out about DEWM partners’ design related work and follow links to their websites. DEWM partners include CABE and the HCA, operating on a national scale, and regional organisations working together to promote design excellence in buildings, places and public spaces. The DEWM partners coordinate to ensure that design services don’t overlap in the region and that gaps are filled.

You can also find out more about the professional organisations working with their members in the region to promote and champion design quality. These organisations represent members from across the public and private sectors, including architects, surveyors, planners and developers. Details of their work programmes and links to further information are included in the Professional membership organisations section.
